Driving from Nova Scotia - Ottawa through the States...

I am driving from Nova Scotia to Ottawa and wanting to know what the best route would be to come home with some nice places to see.

Thank you

If you are in no hurry, crossing at Cornwall and driving through Upper New York, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine is very Liesurely. With a stop in Lancaster or Gorham New Hampshire to break up the trip, we find it much more relaxing than the 4 lane drive through Canada.

Don't forget your passports.

Oops, your going the other way, cross at Calais or Houlton Maine and enter Canada at Cornwall.

I don't usuall go to Houlton, but in June the road from Moncton to Calais was in terrible shape.
