Campground recommendations

We live in Nova Scotia but am looking for campground recommendations. We always stay at Yogi and South Mountain during the summer but would like recommendations for other family oriented campgrounds (kids ages 10 and 12). We camp in a tent trailer and do prefer to have serviced sites. We live in Dartmouth and would like to keep our drive under three hours for a weekend of camping. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If you see a place that interests you, google it and you may find reviews.

Friends of mine really enjoy Land of Evangeline Campground in Grand Pre near Wolfville. Mostly permanent campers. Right across from Evangeline Beach and just down the road from Grand Pre Historic Site. I went to visit them last summer at their trailer and there were lots of kids around. There is a pool and a playground. And the Evangeline Beach has a restaurant right there too. passport-america.com/Campgrounds/…

As a kid I always enjoyed visiting Sherwood Forest Campground in Coldbrook. They have lots of activities and seems to be popular with children. http://sherwoodforestcampingpark.com/

Friends of mine really enjoy camping at The Ovens near Bridgewater. They have a pool, playground, activities, and of course there is the actual ovens to see. http://www.ovenspark.com/index.shtml

For a pretty unique, waterfront campground on the big tides of the Fundy you could check out www.oldshipyardbeachcampground.com in Spencers Island. The sites aren't treed but if you love the ocean its a neat place, clean and well run.

Thank you all for the tips. I like to receive recommendations based on personal experience with a campground. We have had a couple of bad experiences when we choose a campground based on information in the Doers and Dreamer Guide.
