We are traveling to the Atlantic provinces July 30-Aug.8, probably planning to fit way too much in, but we're from AB, and know about driving. :-)
July 30 - Fly into Halifax arrive at 10:30 a.m. rent a car, stay one night, drive to & stay in Moncton, hope to see Hopewell Rocks, had booked 2 nights in Bangor Maine (but think this may be way too much, so are willing to cancel this), then back to PEI for 2-3 nights, Cape Breton for 2 nights and 1 night in Halifax.
Is this way too much driving??
Possible Highlights - would like to see Peggy's Cove, Hopewell Rocks, eat lots of lobster and other fresh seafood, Cabot Trail, Pier 21, maybe Shediac, NB, Sherbrooke Village on Cape Breton Island.
Any places we should stay a longer/shorter amount of time?
