Cabot Trail suggestions

We will be staying in Braddeck for 1 day/night.

Our main interest there is the Cabot Trail.

What area is the best for scenery/photo ops.

Someone suggested Skyline Trail.

Someone else said Middlehead Peninsula

and yet someone else said go between Cheticamp and Pleasant Bay. We are 2 ladies, 74 yrs old, who want to

take a hike and take photos.

Thanks

If you only have 1 night on the island and are leaving from Baddeck to travel around the Cabot Trail, and want to hike the same day, you are on a tight schedule. Suggest you travel counterclockwise to get the afternoon sun on the West coast . Think the Skyline is a bit much maybe, it's an immediate and takes 3 hours, now the Bog and The MacIntosh are far better for seniors .

You really should have 2-3 days and be on the West side of the Island.
