RV Overnight Parking areas along Cabot Trail

Hello, we are planning an October trip of the Cabot trail (first timers) in a rented RV (also first time), and need advice. I know generally the best places to park RV overnight are pre-booked campgrounds, but that restricts our movement and limits the possibilities along the Cabot trail. Can someone suggest if Cabot trail offers spots or areas where RV can be parked overnight? We do not require plugins or connections. Naturally Cheticamp and Ingonish have campgrounds so that's not a problem; it is the stretch of trail in between where we may want to stop over for the night. Thank you, f

Check out the website for Cape Breton Highlands National Park. They have serviced and unserviced camping sites. Also do a search below for camping.
