Nova Scotia 2014 Marketing Campaign

For those that are interested, here is what the NSTA has in store for marketing for the province for 2014. Personally I feel we don't do enough to attract visitors here but I guess at least we are doing something.

It is OK. It does show some of our best features but wastes time showing hands blowing in the breeze from a car window - huh?

It's all 'touchy feely' stuff now. They are 5 years late copying what Newfoundland did successfully. The provincial government cut funding years ago and are slowly starting to put money back in but the price for TV spots is ridiculous. Pretty bad when the local Casino has a bigger marketing budget than the province that it is in.

Completely agree with the frustration of the government's acting about five years too late with not enough money to make a real dent...

I put in a request for Trourist info for Nova Scotia recently, it came very quickly.

Love the full sized map they sent also.
