Crossing the border between Canada and the US

Hi

I'm travelling to the US in April and would like to go across into Canada for 2 nights at Niagara Falls or Toronto. I'm a British Passport Holder, and I was wondering if anyone knows whether this will be ok to cross the border then come back again. I've heard from someone that it should be ok to get across into Canada but might be a little more difficult getting back into the States. Help!

Its a little more difficult, even for Americans, to get back into the States than it is to get into Canada.

If you are entering the US under the Visa Waiver Program, you can go to Canada and re-enter Canada as long as you are within the validity period of the VWP.
