Hot date ideas in Toronto?

So far we want to hit the zoo, the beach, and Toronto island together.

I need a few more ideas to round out our 3 days together.

For night stuff, I'm looking for some rooftop patios and some Latin dancing we can do together.

Any ideas that are nice for romance are welcome!

Hi adrenalinezero;

How about "Edge Walk" at the CN Tower ?

Walk around OUTSIDE, around the circumference of the roof, 365 metres / 1200 feet above the ground !

There are a couple of Latin dance clubs in the Bathurst and College area, I'm thinking El Rancho and Plaza Flamingo. But since it's not really my scene I couldn't tell you whether those are the most current hot spots.

No real shortage of rooftop patios in this city. Here's a shortlist, blogto.com/toronto/…

Rooftop patios:

Panorama Lounge- Manulife Centre, Bay & Bloor. Awesome views over the city.

Park Hyatt Toronto hotel- Bloor & Avenue. Classic.

The Pilot- Cumberland just off Yonge in Yorkville. Jazz club.

The Fifth- Richmond W & Duncan in the Entertainment District. Good dinner option, if a little pricey. Lovely setting.

The Thompson Hotel- Bathurst & Wellington W. May have to call to see if there's a guest list.

The Drake Hotel- Queen ST W & Beaconsfield. The "arty" neighbourhood, great terrace.

Latin Dancing:

Lula Lounge would be the place to hit up for a great salsa feel...

I just saw a deal for Lula Lounge, and was thinking the same thing:

Greektown along Danforth Ave. has a great vibe with many patios (not sure of any rooftop ones though)....it's a good strip to sample some excellent food and drink on one of the many patios.

Same applies to Little Italy along College St....lots of fine eateries and patios to enjoy along with a nice easy going vibe.

The best patio on the Danforth is probably the back patio at Allen's, though it's at ground level. Upscale pub food basically. Great burgers, pretty good beer and whisky list.
