Niagara Falls is always worth a visit....in terms of day tours, look at their itinerary and see if it satisfies your NF needs, if not you may want to plan your own day trip....
Thanks for your answers! :)
I will book for a day tour then since I refuse to drive in winter there (sorry I a bad driver....)
Have a great time in Niagara Falls, Vivich !
The Falls are beautiful in the winter, just be sure to bundle up! You might want to include a side trip to Niagara -on-the -Lake while you are so close. Makes a great day trip.
I thought the lake was closed in winter... that's why they switch the maid of mist forthe skylon tower...
I am very eager to see the Falls, thanks for your help :)
The Falls can never be "closed" due to the huge volume of water (more than 168,000 cubic metres / 6 million cubic ft. of water every minute during peak daytime tourist hours) travelling from Great Lakes Superior, Michigan, Huron and Erie.
(an area of approx. 264,000 sq. mi. / 684,000 sq. km.)
It flows over the Falls into the Niagara River, into Lake Ontario then into the St. Lawrence River and out to the Atlantic Ocean.
The water activities close in the winter to due the formation of ice, and the danger of large pieces of ice falling 57 m. / 188 ft. over the falls.
