Drive time London to Pearson

Hi, wonder how much time to allow for driving from London to the Pearson airport at 4:30pm on a Friday (Aug 5). Also the best route would also be apprecited.

Best and most direct route is the 401 from London to Pearson.

If you need to arrive for a flight on a Friday afternoon, then allow at least 3 hrs.

If you factor in construction, possible accidents, traffic to a ballgame or concert, or even just regular Friday traffic, anything can happen.

You might arrive at Pearson in 2 hrs with time to spare, but you just never know----and no one wants to miss a flight.

As well, it's sometimes taken me 30 minutes just to get from Fanshawe Pk. Rd to the 401 on a Friday afternoon in London!

http://maps.google.com/ will give you the route but the directions at the turnoff for the airport that you need to use are:

Follow signs for ON-427 N and merge onto ON-427 N

2.4 km

6. Take the Dixon Road exit to the Airport

Just follow the signage for the airport and you'll have no problem.

Thanks a lot, I was kind of thinking along the same time line. Nice have it confirmed from someone in the area.
