I am planning on visiting Niagara Falls with my husband arriving about 7pm on Thursday 23rd August. I need to be back at Hamilton airport by 6pm the next day.
I want to make the best use of my time at the falls. I have heard that the queues on the American side for the maid of the mist are a lot shorter and I like the sound of cave of the winds and the whirlpool jet boats.
I am thinking that the best bet may be to stay on the Canadian side on the Thursday night and have a meal overlooking the falls - any suggestions for something reasonable priced would be appreciated!
Then going across the Rainbow bridge on the Friday morning and visiting the Maid of the mist, cave of the winds and the jet boats before crossing back into Canada to catch our flight home.
My concern is that I am going to end up waisting time queuing to cross the bridge - is this likely to be a problem?
Also, any other suggestions as to whether this is a good/realistic itinery - is there anything I should do differently?
