In search of Fallsview Blvd Tuscan Market

I was in Niagara Falls Last week staying at the Embassy Suites. We happened upon a little market called Tuscan with a sign that also said European Market. It was in thesame Fallsview Blved. block with the currency exhange, Subway, Starbucks. Located between Embassy Suites and the Casino. I had an amazing pumpkin kaluah cheesecake and would love to ask them for the recipe. But I can't find a phonel isting for them anywhere. This is the kind of business I would love to see thrive. Very nice people. Went out of their way for us. If anyone knows of this place and how I can contact them I would really appreciate it.

The Tuscan Market is the best deal in Niagara other than the falls. We had done the Maid of the Mist and the Journey Behind the falls. Now we were hungry and with $9.00 combo meals at the Niagara concessions and $20.00 entres I stopped into a hair salon in front the Fallsview Casino and asked them where the locals eat. Four doors back the way we had just walked was the Tuscan Market. Just opened for four weeks they were feeding the work force of the casino district. So back we went. It was great cant say enough good things about Jacqueline Who set us up a table in her display window and fead us home cooked ravioli and tortelini. Two uf us ate like we were in provence for $20.00.

It really is a shame that you cant take people at their word. I was trying to help some one like me who doesn't want to spend fifty bucks for lunch. We also spent two days at Niagara on the Lake and ate at the old angel inn and pub food was a bargain compared to the other gormet resturants in the area, and if you are looking for great theater you you should take in Mack and Mabel at the Shaw Festival. Oh and don't bother with lunch or the tour at the Hillebrand Winery it was overpriced and overated.

Hi;

As neither Bell nor Canada411 has a listing for this company, its no wonder that people are suspicious.

Best Regards

I wouldn't necessary think of a troll if I was only considering that the phone number isn't listed on Bell nor Canada 411....if the business has only been open for 4 weeks....my experience with internet phone lists is that it can take much longer than that before a listing appears.

I was just there this weekend thru Tuesday and i think i saw this place- was it on the same side of the road as the Embassy Suites in the same block with Subway and Starbucks, before Starbucks if you are walking from the Embassy Suites? Looks like a little European deli? We stopped by several times as it looked good but we never managed to hit it at a time that it was open. Sorry we missed it! I bet if you contacted that Starbucks they'd help you contact them- Good luck!

Wow. Just checked back and I really cannot believe what I am reading. I am indeed a 1st time poster. I came here to find a phone number because it was not listed on canada411. I didn't have a meal there, only the cheesecake and I would like the recipe. If I had known I they were only open for a month I wouldn't have assumed that I would be able to find them online.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

On another note....

Thank you tktraveler for your respone. I willl try the #.

Yes uvagrad, that would be the place.

Traceylynne, curious and leery about the Oaks if it's the place I think it is. From walking by it looks like they tried to modernize an old , not so great hotel. Still looks old and not so great. Only my opinion from walking by frequently.

GO SOX!!!! 10 - 2 and going strong......
