congrats!!!!!!!!!!

how much do you want to spend?......Do you want a fallsview hotel?/jacuzzi/fireplace?......

For the dinner , I would reccomend the Keg in the Embassy Suites Hotel.....or the Watermark ontop of the Hilton Hotel, both are pricey tho..

My personal favorite in Niagara is the Doubletree Lodge. Great views (I love the Skylon when it's lit up at night), great rooms, fantastic pool/hot tub. I love the beds, I always get the best night's sleep there. Not the cheapest place to stay though.

The Watermark at the Hilton is great, and again, not cheap. There is a lounge one floor up that also has great views. You could enjoy an after dinner drink there and propose overlooking the falls even if you've had dinner at a different location.

I'm going to The Keg in two weeks, I could report back if you wish. From the pics online, the view appears to be very nice.

I would get a nice full fallsview room/suite at either the Oakes or Sheraton Fallsview (the Sheraton is nicer) and propose when the fireworks hit for the Festival of Lights ( Friday and Sundays at 10:00 I think....check with the front desk at either hotel). Order dinner in to be delivered and set the table up in front of the window. Have champagne on ice. Much nicer than a busy tourist restaurant..... But if you really want a restaurant, the Skylon is a great, memorable experience and would fit the bill for a proposal, although the tables are set kinda close together. No matter what you chose to do, pay attention to details - request a FALLSVIEW room or a table with a view of the falls, etc... and let them know why you want it . Service can sometimes lack in the Niagara Falls area but, if you let them know what's going on, they might step up a bit. Prepare to pay ....but great memories do cost so....

Any of the Fallsview hotels would be nice Embassy, Marriot, Hilton, Double Tree, Renaissance.

There are a few restaurants that are very nice.

The Skylon is used by many for proposals. The downside is the tables are very close together.

The Seventeen Noir Dining Room at the Fallsview Casino is very nice. A little on the pricey side.

The Canyon Creek ChopHouse also at the Fallsview Casino would be nice. I have dined there twice for a romantic evening and was not disappointed. The prices are reasonable.
