I did a reservation for staying at the hilton niagara falls, next 20 of November through HILTON´S web site,and after checking your photos in the hotels on tripadvisor I realized that it's not a real falls view hotel. I want to cancel my reservation and move to Reinassance or Marriott (both are cheaper than Hilton) and they are real Premium Falls view with no unobstructed views.
I have a junior suite premium in Hilton, for 229CAD, plus taxes.
I cannot cancel through the web, and they have phone me telling me that the money is not refundable once is charged to my credit cad; I did my reservation on the 12/10/2005 and tomorrow my bank (1st of November) will charge for it,
The lady on the phone told me to ring back tomorrow monday to a reservation manager for the cancellation problem; she can'nt do it right now and has given me a telephone number for this.
I don´t think that´s normal, because there is enough time for the cancellation( 20 days for my arriving) and I have paid a normal rate , not really a bargain.
Hilton is a very important chain and I don´t understand that; maybe I have to stay with them unfortunately, or paying another hotel to be happier in Niagara.
Somebody knows if the junior suite has good views from the falls?
I travel from Spain and I want thebest for my holidays.
Next time I´ll check your web before booking any hotel.
