36 hours in Niagara

Arriving Monday afternoon and leaving Wednesday morning (or a bit later).

We are a group of 5, 2 adults, 2 older teens, 1 young adult (early 20's)

We are interested in -of course- visiting the Falls. So what is the best option, boat, maybe helicopter?

Apart from the Falls what other things are there to do?

Should I book a tour or just plan it by my own?

You can walk to the falls. There is an area called Table Rock with a visitor center. We did the Maid of the Mist (boat ride). It was pretty good. It didn't last very long.

Clifton Hills is good for teenagers & young adults for entertainment.

Casinos for adults or the Oh Canada Eh! dinner show. It's a family show.

Its a road-street on a hill with many attractions. Places to eat, fun houses. Kids and maybe some adults, should love the area.

36 hours isn't much but then I like to checkout the areas around a 20--30 min drive.

For a 36 hour visit I would recommend staying close to the parkway around the falls and just ride the People Mover to the stops they go to.(The People Mover seemed to be running great last week--I swear I seen a bus every 5--10 mins up and down the route it travels, they must be back to using 3--4 people movers again)

If your eager, checkout the US side and the park area near the falls. In the US park, they have a park trolley to take people around. (why only 1 trolley was running last Friday afternoon, I have no idea--so happy I had my bike to get around the park)

Thanks, but I think I would stay on the Canadian side.
