Viewing the fireworks from the hotel rom

Hi

I have booked a falls view room at the Radisson. I was looking forward to also enjoying the fireworks from the window. I have just read that you can't actually see them from this hotel.

So...which is the best place to book a falls view room from..where I will also be able to watch the fireworks from? Or is it something to go out for?

My room was $222 without taxes per night and I can cancel it if there is a better option. It is a king with jacuzzi whirlpool.

Thanks for any advice...

Hi StephieDevonUK;

Respectfully, fireworks by design, are best viewed from the ground. The show in Niagara Falls only lasts a few minutes, so I wouldn't base my room choice on them.

Best Regards

The fireworks are by the American falls - shot off on the Canadian side but I use the falls to know where to stand - the Fallsview hotel would be great but not cheap ! You want a view of the American falls and the rainbow bridge. Most fallsview rooms should be fine and if not, another room on the same floor - price should be fine. So if you get your room and can't see the rainbow bridge at all you might want to switch rooms. Then again they are shot up high, likely most all falslview rooms would be good

I must have seen the fireworks a dozen times, always outside by the wall -ledge. Half the fun is walking down there and hangout with the crowd.

Yes the show is pretty short

I've seen them from the Embassy Suites. They're good but it's not a spectacular show if that's what you're expecting.

Its the shortest firework show that I know of. Heck after the Wallenda walk, they shot off 2 fireworks, unreal.

The shows are not that short, they put on a good display but its only a few mins long

We were at the Hilton to watch the fireworks, it was not spectacular and lasted only 5 minutes. So don't base your hotel choice on the fireworks show.

If you plan to stay at the Radisson, take the funicular (or have a walk) to Table rock to enjoy the short show.

Packages including breakfast vouchers at the Hilton NF are quite interesting (see my review). Have a look at www.niagarafallshilton.com and compare :-)
