Where to stay for the best view at the best rate

Just spending one night in Niagra and want to be assured of a close up view of the falls at night either from a hotel room or a viewing spot. Firstly is is spectacular enough to warrant an overnight stay and if so wher do you suggest . Have looked at reviews for Marriott Ramada Plaza and not knowing the area not sure which offers the best view and location to allow easy access to the facilities at the fall. As we will be arriving by bus or train form Toronto is it easy to get to the hotal you recommend. any help appreciated to help make the final decision

There are always taxi's awaiting the train and bus arrivals.

Don't worry about ground transportation when you arrive.

It will cost you about 15 to 20 Canadian dollars to get to your fallsview hotel.

There are several hotels with spectacular views and of course the higher you go, the more expensive it is.

Reservations are recommended.

The Hyatt Fallsview Casino hotel, the Marriot , Embassy Suites, Oakes Inn, Sheraton Fallsview, Hilton etc are all in the same tourist district.

Hey , I wrote this about 2 weeks ago, this should help a bit!

Hey there p.m.s.norton O.K. I stayed at the Radisson 3 years ago in August, and it was GREAT, it's in a great location within everything, there are restaurants such as the Outback, TGIF'S etc. Right across the street from it, about a 1 minute walk, the Casino is about 5 minute walk, and the falls are about a 5 minutes away, and Clifton Hill is about 10-15 minute walk, the Minolta tower is about a 1 minute walk, it's right across the street from the Radisson aswell, (when I was there the Radisson gave us free tickets to the Minolta Tower, and so we went, and got a great view It's great!

The Hotel is in a great location and you can get a terrific view of the falls if you get a room with a falls view, the hotel offers valet parking so that is good. The rooms are nice and big, with ceiling to floor window, nice mini fridges, the beds are comfy and big, the bathrooms are nice and clean.

The service is very polite. The hotel has an arcade, when my kids wanted to play, I only had money in bill form, so I gave them 5 dollars Canadian and they went to the front desk and asked for coins, they then gave him 5 dollars in American Quarters! That is how nice they are.

And One last thing that your two young children will enjoy is the pool, when I went my kids were 12-10, and they couldn't really swim in the day because the pool was CROWDED with young children, so we had to wait until 1 hour to 30 minutes before the pool closed to go swimming as all the kids were sleeping at that time, so your kids will enjoy playing with the other kids in the pool.

Overall this hotel is great, and I STRONGLY suggest you go to this hotel!

I would highly reccomend the Oakes or the Embassysuites...the views are the best from these two hotels...Both have shuttles that will take you around to the attractions..
