Hotel with great view of the Falls from the Canadian side??

In October we will be spending two days in the area to see the Falls. I have reserarched hotels that have great views of the Falls and found that there are many to choose from. Does anyone have an opinion as to which hotel would be best overall? I am not necessarily concerned with cost.

Thanks

Can't go wrong with either Marriott on Fallsview dr, long as you get a deluxe room. Fallsview Casino has a hotel as well and its right next to the casino. I would go to either depending on your interests. If your more into seeing the falls, going on a boat ride, the Marroitts are right near the incline ride to get you down to the falls--the incline ride is close for repairs but should by open by Oct.

If the casino and nightlife you want, then stay next to the casino.

Yes there are many great hotels to pick from and its too hard to say which one is the best if they all are fine picks. I just said Marriott's and Fallsview cause they all have rooms with fantastic views and the hotel staffs are very professional...some hotels seem to skimp on hiring a great staff, IMO

Hi TerryOmaha;

If cost is no object, hands-down, the Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort.

Agree with Marriott Fallsview. All rooms face the falls, great restaurant,24hr gym and pool, Starbucks in the lobby,5 mins from the casino. get the WEGO bus pass and park at the hotel once($20/day valet charge) and see all the sights on the bus with multiple stops around town

Check the hotel for pretty decent specials before schools let out for the summer. Free buffet breakfast for two, $49 rest cert, WEGO pass ,etc.. The views are awesome-once in a lifetime category. You will face sunrise over the falls so take your camera.

Can you tell I love this place? There are two Marriotts in the same location but I believe Fallsview is the better of the two.

I am sure the above hotels all have great views but also check out the Embassy Suites anything above the 30th fl. I believe they have a Presidental suite which is a knock out. I also saw photos to the Presidental suite

at the Sheraton on the Falls and they were breath taking. Add on at least $20.00 a day for parking.

If your plans are for the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend, the sooner you book the better....like all long weekends, space can go quickly and become pricey with what's left...

I would second the vote for the Fallsview Casino Resort as the overall best first choice - very modern, upscale, convenient, and a wonderful staff . My second best would be the Marriott Fallsview - a very nice place, not as friendly staff. Of course you want to be sure to request a room with a wonderful view! The Embassy does have very nice presidential suites - but the rooms are a bit outdated and worn and it is a very big, busy, crowded hotel.

The staff was extremely friendly every time I have stayed at the Fallsview Marriott. They even brought me a complimentary cup of hot coffee one morning as I waited in the lobby for Starbucks to open! Very customer oriented group in my view.

Take a look at the Tower Hotel, I have never been, but the views look fantastic and have read some good reviews.
