Niagara fallsview suite hotel

Hi - We are a family of four two adults and two kids 9 and 5. We are looking to come sometime in October. Would like a hotel with a view of the falls but just starting to look. Our kids could sleep in a pull out couch but we would like a separate room so we can stay up later and relax. I think we would stay two or three nights, not sure how much there is to do. It has been many many years since I have been to Niagara. Any suggestions would be helpful for good hotels. Will it be busy during October? Might try a long weekend at the end of September on Sunday and then beginning of October Monday and Tuesday the kids have off from school that Monday for Yom Kippur. Thanks again! Again would that be a busy time!

The only really busy time in October would be the weekend starting October 6th since that's Thanksgiving weekend.

I suggest the Marriott (as always) - either jr pres suite or a family suite.

Hi again, doyle - for those nights I've found a Canadian $155 a night rate ($130 US) before taxes, on the Embassy Suites site - floors 10 - 15 - room code TOTN - includes breakfast for all 4 of you. Premium room (floors 28 - 36) is C$215 = US$180, also includes breakfast, room code TCSN

Maybe someone else can do a bit better for you - good luck!

Thanks fannish - I am still checking out prices and hotels. My dates can be changed as this is a trip was not planned but something our 9 year old has been asking about. We are going to Nova Scotia next summer but he has been asking about Niagara Falls and I think we would all have a good time. If I have to take them out of school for a day or two then we will as this would be a great trip for all of us. Thanks again!

Embassu Suites is the perfect hotel for what your looking for. I love the embassy suites for those short night stays, you get a nice breakfast and a cocktail hour with some snacks at night; you cant beat it for the price.

Thanks everyone for all your help ! We have stayed at the Embassy Suites before and it has been great. This hotel has a view of the falls? Is it close to the casinos in case my husband gets bored (I know he will want to at least check it out but it is not necessary)Thanks again!

Yes it has a fallsview room but that is more money and the casino is about a one min walk from the embassy suites.

those rates I gave you *were* all fallsview, doyle. Polywog's recommendation of a fallsview family suite at the Marriott would be around US$185 a night (no breakfast) plus taxes, lower floors 4 - 7, but there are also other packages

The Marriott is a 4* hotel
