How much would it cost to take a taxi from hotel downtown Ottawa to Airport?

What would the average cost be?

According to the Ottawa International Airport website, the average taxi fare between downtown and the airport is $25.00.

The shuttle bus fare is $14.00. Or you can take a #97 bus for $3.00.

Hope that helps.

Depending on what Hotel you are at, count on $40 including tip. I think the website is a bit of of date on this one.

I guess 40 is on the safe side to ensure you are covered. However, I live downtown and take taxis to airport a few times a month, I have never (or very rarely) paid more than 25$ to airport

It makes a big difference if it's rush hour traffic, or late at night with little or no traffic on the road. I've paid close to $40, but sometimes less. For a city the size of Ottawa, it's a lot of money for a taxi ride, but the airport is south of the city. If you have ample time, consider the airport shuttle.
