I've been looking at options and, for the present, it seems my best bet is to ride public transport to Pearson Airport and then catch a "Robert Q" van to Detroit Metro. Any other ideas? Thanks!

Robert Q van?
Also it's Toronto Union Station not Pacific Union.
If you are at Toronto Union Station then you can take VIA rail to Windsor which is across the river from Detroit. You would then transfer to a bus to Detroit. This takes 6+ hours. Economy fares start at $48.
Yes Robert Q is your best option unless you fly. FYI Robert Q is a London shuttle company that operates between London, Pearson, Detroit airport.
You will need to coordinate your times well, since RQ will stop in London before continuing to DTW and everyone needs to get off at immigration in Detroit etc.
Hi Pops150;
Your plan is possible, but as requested in reply #2, knowing more information about your plans...in the bigger scheme of things, may yield an even better plan.
Best Regards
I vote for the train, as per post #3. Or Greyhound runs that route http://www.greyhound.ca. The bus terminal in Toronto is three subway stops from Union Station.
