Hi, we can't answer everything, but here are a few:

1. We've never taken the bus or train to Niagara, but have a read through these previous posts for some useful info:

http://www.tripadvisor.com/SearchForums?ff=55&geo=155019&scope=2&q=how+to+get+from+Toronto+to+Niagara+Falls&x=14&y=13&returnTo=%2FShowForum-g155019-i55-Toronto_Ontario.html

2. You can take the #6 Bay St bus southbound (board just across the street from your hotel. The bus will say Ferry Docks on the front)

OR, you can walk a block & a half east on Wellesley Street just outside the hotel over to Wellesley subway station. From there take the train south to Union Station, then follow the signs to the streetcar loading area. Ride the streetcar for 1 stop to Bay Street, come up to street level and cross the street to the ferry docks. You can rent bikes on the islands, or on the mainland about 3 blocks west of the ferry docks:

3. Since you'll be on the islands maybe he would also enjoy Center Island or Ward's Island beaches. A longer ride on a streetcar might also be cool. The #501 Queen Street car goes eastbound out to The Beach neighbourhood- a fun ride, then a nice place to wander when you get there. And of course the CN Tower is a huge hit with kids of all ages.

4. Personally we'd just take a taxi to YTZ. If you're flying Porter they have a shuttle that leaves from the west entrance to the Royal York Hotel, across the street from Union Station (follow the subway directions in item 2 above to get to Union) The Porter website also has a few other transit options:

5. Sorry, can't help with the Korean restaurant question, although there are many on Bloor St W (not in the area of your hotel) There is a small grocery store called Rabba on Wellesley just around the corner from your hotel.

Hope that helps!

Hello tx_pearland.

You mentioned your son has already been to theme parks and water parks. If you wanted to squeeze one more in Canada's Wonderland is always a big hit with kids.

Or your son might enjoy the Royal Ontario Museum, The Ontario Science Centre or the Toronto Zoo. You can get more detailed information on these places by clicking on the Things To Do option to the left on this page.

Good luck.

Hello tx,

You can do both in one day. But I would suggest you narrow down the parts of the museum to see ie the dinosaur collection etc. That way you can make the most out of seeing both the ROM and Casa Loma.

And it's not far from Casa Loma to the ROM, less than 2 kms.
