We suspect that you're asking for something that isn't available. The North Pole is actually a long way from anywhere and tends to be visited only by very well equipped adventurers on long expeditions. Sometimes they end up needing to be rescued by the military!

What would you like to see of Canada's north? If it's Northern Lights, your best bet is probably to get yourselves to Yellowknife in the North West Territories. If it's polar bears, Churchill in Manitoba is probably best. Either one is a long way from Toronto & you will spend more of your weekend flying to your destination than actual time AT the destination.

Try looking around at these two other forums to see if you can get some more info.

Good luck!

Well, there's the North Pole Bakery at 1210 Danforth Avenue (Greenwood subway station). But, as B & J suggest, the actual North Pole is 4700 km from Toronto and very difficult to reach. It's just not doable as a weekend trip, or with a baby.

For an example of a North Pole excursion, see montecitomessenger.com/lifestyle/… . $48,500 + taxes/person from Ottawa and takes a whole week.

North Pole would be much easier to reach from Anchorage, Alaska.
