We are travelling to Toronto 29 May-9 June this summer on our honeymoon. We are in our early thirties and travelling from Ireland. This is our first trip to Canada. While we're there we would like to get out of the city for a day or two and see some of the famous Canadian scenery and wildlife.
We're obviously planning on a trip to Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake but are interested in other suggestions. We will not be hiring a car so are dependent on public transport, coach trips, etc. We don't drink so are not interested in touring the wine country. We are interested in history and culture and would like to enjoy some nature.
We would be grateful for any suggestions offered. The sheer scale of Canada and distances between attractions is rather mind-boggling for us.
