Accomodations near Spadina Ave

Hi,

I'll be arriving for the Improv Fest in October and would like to know if there is a hotel or B&B in the Spadina Ave area to stay for a few nights.

thanks!

Spadina is a very long avenue/street. Give us a cross street ... i.e Bloor St, Dupont Ave., St. Clair.

Looks to me like a cross street near Dundas? It's in the 300 block. Would there be something priced around $100.00 a night?

Super 8 is nasty. Dark, smells awful, lousy service. Wired internet only.

Have a look at Planet Traveler on College just a block west of Spadina:

New little boutique hotel on Spadina, just north of Queen, called Hotel Ocho, http://hotelocho.com/hotel.html

Not cheap, but definitely interesting and in the thick of things. For that time frame, they're showing a queen room at $185 a night, which is higher end standard for downtown Toronto hotels.

Hotel Ocho is definitely the nicest hotel on Spadina Avenue itself.

But Spadina and Dundas really isn't far from the heart of downtown, so really any downtown Toronto hotel would work well if you don't mind a short walk or short ride on public transit.

If you're aiming for $100/night, you should look at what Hotwire has to offer. Their "Downtown West" hotels should be in a good location for you. Just beware the Hotwire restrictions (hotel name hidden until after your non-refundable payment, no changes allowed).
