As soon as there are only two, yes two, teams that DON'T make the playoffs, then the Argos can wooooootttt over the Jays and Leafs, I'm just sayin...

The big screen outside the ACC was showing the end of the game live but suddenly went black with less than a minute to go. It was as if someone realized showing a non-MLSE team celebrating a Toronto championship might hit a bit too close to home.

So how about that half-time show? Geez, poor Gordon Lightfoot looks like a homeless man....but he sounded tender and sweet.

When did the Beeb's get a tattoo?

And how about Burton Cummings singing the National Anthem. I think that cheesey bontempi organ sounded terrible and I also believe he kind of messed up the words at one point......unless he was being artistic and trying to make the song his own. Personally I think he messed up.

Having Brian Williams introduce the acts was kind of a faux pas as well. Oh well, over-all it was fairly decent.

And the fans boo a hometown superstar ? (Stratford isn't that far from Toronto)

Bieber belongs to Stratford ... not Toronto.

And Bieber belongs to tween girls, not football goers, and didn't win himself any new fans by showing up in Ottawa to meet the Prime Minister in half-unbuttoned overalls. Boos are a little blunt, but the football fans had a point -- even if he's a world-famous guy who grew up nearby, respect still has to be earned.

Having him was a minor misstep by the CFL in a week that otherwise seems to have gone off extremely well.
