We have quite a problem here with pages of these posts. I've given up reporting them.

The spam has been talked about on the Support and Help Us Make TA Better forums for a month or so.

TA staff have posted that their engineers are working on a solution. The best way to report a spammer is to copy the URL of the profile page, use this link...

First drop down - Forums, Messages Trav Articles

Second drop down - Help using the forum

Paste the URL in the text box.

Last night about midnight in Van, one spammer had left about 175 posts on the TO forum in about 2hours. It is spambots doing this, creating new identities every half hour. They post in relays so that when the first one is removed and banned, #2 and #3 carry on. The problem is present on all TA forums.

The problem is, using the "report inappropriate content" link within the post doesn't bring the spam to the attention of TA staff so it hangs around for days with the title visible. Then the auto removal system kicks in. The other problem is that TA staff in Boston aren't working at that time of night, but when they arrive to work, they then vacuum out the spam completely.

But I for one would like the engineers to find their magic solution sooner than later.
