Canadian returning money exchange

Hello,

I am a Canadian returning to toronto area. I will have 3 currencies I want to change to Canadian dollars. I will have euros, Czech and Hungarian money. I am in Hungary with a layover in Belgium. Is it better to change it here, or the airport, or a Canadian bank or exchange place?

Thanks

Definitely not at the airport. Not familiar with the rates in Hungary or Belgium, so can't compare, but one of the good currency exchange places (downtown, there's Guardian Currency at 151 Yonge or Wall Street Finance, formerly Rosco Trading, at 121 Yonge) would probably be your best bet here.

I'm almost positive Guardian does not accept Hungarian forints.

I travelled to Budapest 2 months ago and tried to purchase some currency in advance and Guardian said they do not carry it at all. It is possible that just at that very moment they didn't have any but I got the impression they never carry it.

Personally I would just change it to Euros if you can first. You'll get hit with the spread twice though.
