I just heard on the news a report about how the cold températures and aboundant snow have helped for winter activities.
All around the Province things are getting an early start or are already running full tilt.
Examples? Mont Sainte-Anne has already 100% of the trails open. Innauguration of the Ice Hotel in Québec City has been rescheduled two days in advance (now Jan 3). Tommycod ice fishing at Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pérade is already operational. Snowmobiling, cross country skiing and dog sledding are going full fledge, etc...
The only thing that is not ready yet is actually in neighbouring Ontario where the Rideau Canal skating "road" in Ottawa is not opened yet due to some warm spell in the last week or so.
