Bus travel from Montreal to Boston, MA

Am considering taking a night bus from Montreal to Boston - departs 11+ pm and reach Boston early morning as this seems to be cheaper compared to flying. Would like to know whether this is a reasonable alternative. Can anybody share their experience please? Or any advice?

No, bus travel would be the cheapest. There is no direct train route between the cities, and if you decided to take the train down to Albany,NY, and then transfer to a Bostn bound train the trip would take almost a whole day. Stick with the bus.

This bus service is a sleeper, I haven't experienced if filled to capacityl so much, seems that it doesn't get full so often, at least from Montréal. It is also much more quiet , in all meanings, than what I experienced in Southern US. The only problem is that the bus are usually older models and the seats are a bit tired so if you can have some extra padding with you that could be nice.

What bus line? Where do you pick it up, and where does it drop you off??? We are taking a cruise from Boston to Montreal, and would like to get back to our car in Boston at the end of the cruise. Thanks for your help!
