Hotel with nearby parking

Hi,

Visiting Montreal (from the UK) for 2 or 3 days in late September. Been to Canada a number of times but this will be our first time to Montreal.

Would prefer a smaller (but good) hotel in Old Montreal but need somewhere easy and close by to park a rental car. At my age, walking for miles is not an option!!

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Steve

Most hotels will have paid parking in Old Montreal.

There is actually a lot of parking around Old Montréal -- the hotels with new construction have the parking directly underneath them (Westin, Springhill Suites, Saint-Sulpice, Embassy Suites, for example) ; others send you to a lot not far away. However, some also charge more than you would pay elsewhere.

I would say a good combination of parking + old + smaller would be le Saint-Sulpice. Be sure to ask for a room facing the courtyard, which is quieter than those facing Saint-Paul.

Auberge Bonaparte fits your bill. A parking lot is just up the street, the cost of which is included if you park your car there. www.bonaparte.com. Great restaurant also, and breakfast will be included as well.
