May can be a very nice time, though it can still be a little rainy and cool at times, so bring a good raincoat.

Quebec City is a very walkable city, though hilly in spots. Take advantage of the funicular from Upper to Lower town if you don't like steep walks.

Part of the charm of the city is simple walking around and taking it all in. Quaint cafes, little shops, cobblestone streets. Enjoy a coffee or wine at a sidewalk cafe and watch the world go by.

Great food also, french, Quebecois, many other cultures also.

Loads of history.

Don't know if you are driving or flying in. If you have a car you won't need it in QC, but it is great if exploring the sights outside the city. Ile d'Orleans is a beautiful island 15 minutes away. Great to explore. Apple orchards, a few wineries and other specialty shops and restaurants, you'll think you are in the French countryside.

Also, before you drive over to the island there is Montmorency Falls, higher than Niagara though not nearly as majestic. And then a little way up the road there is St. Anne de Beaupre, renowned for healing the sick.

Enjoy your trip.

Having a look at the right hand column on this page where it says "Top Questions about Quebec" is a helpful tool. That way you will have some basic knowledge of the place you plan on visiting. Now you will be able to ask questions that aren't so vague and the TA folks will be able to help you out much better..

You might also give us YOUR likes and dislikes. Do you like fine dining, do you like history, do you like shopping, do you like nature etc.. Also will you have a car? The more you give us the more we can be of assistance.
