Riders Game Packages

I am planning on attending a Riders game in the near future. I was wondering if there are any hotels in Regina that offer any game packages. Thanks in advance.

Since no one has replied to your inquiry, I thought I would offer some advice. I am not in the hotel business but I do live in Regina. I am not aware of the Regina hotels offering any "Rider Weekend" deals and this may be due to the high popularity of the Saskatchewan Roughriders aka tough to get tickets and many season ticket holders.

If you are planning to come to the city, I would check the Tripadvisor ratings and see which hotel meets your interests of value, standards and location. I would not worry about the location, Regina is a small city and you can get to most destinations in 20 minutes with a rental car. Our transit is OK but certainly not up to the standard of Toronto or Vancouver or Ottawa (?), especially on Saturday and Sunday.

As for tickets, you are best to get at www.riderville.com My only other advice is to get them as soon as possible. The last two home games have sold out about a week before the game day. The Labour Day Classic against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers has been sold out since May so you will have to go to the scalper on kijiji or craigslist and you will pay a premium.

A local restaurant chain, Western Pizza, has an offer where you get a beverage (beer) and ticket for $30. This is a good deal but your seats are in the west end zone. However, you are at the game!

I had also noticed PMedKing waiting a long time for a reply, but didn't feel able to provide much help, so commend RoughRiderFan on providing thoughtful and thorough advice. The only piece I would add, as someone who lives near the stadium, is that traffic congestion and parking are such that it would be worth considering a hotel within walking distance. Hotels in the downtown core are all a little bit more than a km, and Best Western 7 Oaks is less than 2 km.
