Whitehorse and back to Whitehorse!

We are looking to hire a motor home, in May 2014, and doing a circular tour. We have two weeks and already have a good idea of the places we want to visit en route. Can any one tell us how much we should expect to pay (roughly) for sites and how expensive is fuel and food etc in Canada. Any tips/advice much appreciated.

Thank you all in advance.

Here is a site that has reviews on RV/campgrounds.:

http://www.rvparkreviews.com/regions/Yukon/

travelyukon.com/accommodation/camping-rv-par…

Here are gas prices:

http://www.energy.gov.yk.ca/fuel.html

Can't help you on grocery prices but I would imagine they would be pricey..

Seeing as you are asking about 2014 it's anybody's guess what the EXACT prices will be.

In Whitehorse, gas is 1.28$ per litre now but expect 25% more in other northern communities. Food price is comparable to what I saw in Europe. Government campings are 12$/ night or 50$ /year.

Sale price of beef is exactly the same as the sale price in Calgary. Veggie quality is sometimes not so good, prices might be a little higher, but not shocking.

Well, $12 a night is not so bad. :)
