Reno airport to Heavenly Ski area

What's the best way to get from Reno airport to the Heavenly Ski area? We are not renting a car and will have a large amount of ski gear with us.

There is a south shore Casino shuttle from the Reno Airport

There are also more expensive limousine services

The south lake tahoe express is used to a lot of ski equipment and has a large storage area. They have quite a few scheduled buses.

That second link that Pareo gave has a strange statement. "Reno-Tahoe International Airport is conveniently located in downtown Reno." That is news to me!

If you have a large group, it may be cheaper to get a limo-- do the math.

Too bad you are not renting , a car. You would drive south on 395 towards Minden and take the highway up over Kingsbury grade. And you would also be in a position to visit some of the other ski areas available.

Rent a car with AWD avoid the chain control (thankfully we have none of that here)
