Australian wishing to talk with ex-pats In Lovina area

Am nearing retirement age and am thinking of moving permanently to the Lovina Beach area. I would like to hear from ex-pats who have made the move so that I can get some first hand advice and hopefully meet up when I get over there. Thanks. Terry

Richard Hood, owner of the Rambutan hotel in Lovina may be able to give some help about the Lovina area.

The owner of Bali Grand Sunsets in Lovina is an Australian, about 50 years old, who lives in the resort with his Dad, in his 70's. I haven't actually met them but they sound like friendly people.

Hi Sue, many thanks for your reply and suggested sites, I now have quite a lot of info on hand, I appreciate the trouble you took in sourcing them for me. Simply looking at the weather here in Adelaide where we are having gale force winds, rain and a max temp of 13 degrees I simply can't wait to get over . Terry

I sent you a PM. I have been living in Lovina for more than 2 years (not as long as Richard!) and happy to meet up for a chat.
