Car service from Cape Town International Airport

Any recommendations for a car service from the airport?.

Alternatively is it easy to fine a cab and are they reliable?

We always use Touchdown Taxis. They are the only official taxi firm at the airport and are situated outside. Just follow the signs to the taxis and don't go with anyone inside the airport who tells you they are from Touchdown as they won't be. Touchdown drivers do not enter the airport. The cabs all have the company logo on their sides and we have found the drivers to be very good.

Touchdown Taxi's are no longer the only official firm at the Airport. There are other companies as well and yes they do enter the Airport and will show a taxi sign at you when walking through arrivals. If you are specifically looking for a car rental company, you can have a look @ Avis Car Rental, Europcar, Budget with many more others and also have a look at www.carhire3000.com for specials.
