Which area to stay in - Cape Town in June

Hello,

I'm a bit confused about where the best area to stay in Cape Town is - we will be there in early June. We will be two females without a car. So we want an area that is safe, with restaurants, bars, sites, etc close.

Thanks!

You can have a look at: Waterfront, Sea Point, Mouille Point, Green Point, Bantry Bay and also Camps Bay. Easy to get around and easy to arrange taxi's as well for a late night out.

Hi - a friend and I just returned from South Africa and spent 4 nights in Capetown. We stayed at More Quarters which are apartment style units in a fantastic location near Long and Kloof streets. We did not have a car so it was important to us to be walking distance to a variety of great bars, shops and restaurants. We never felt unsafe walking back to the hotel at night. They have a free shuttle to the waterfront. We found it easy and affordable to take taxis to Table Mountain, Lions Head and Botanical Gardens. We loved More Quarters. Modern all white decor, excellent breakfast, helpful staff and they set up our apartment with two comfy twin beds for us. We also had a spacious living area. Highly recommend! Have fun! Oh and there is a great restaurant walking distance to hotel called Millers Thumb!
