Not a problem at all. Plenty of people walking around till very late at night. Shops are open until 9pm and some of the restaurants is open until about 11pm. Easy to get taxi's to your place of accommodation as well from the Waterfront and would recommend to get them in front of the Waterfront hotel.

All the best and enjoy

You do not need any taxis when staying at the Cape Grace to get to the Waterfront. It is about a 5min walk across the bridge and your in the Waterfront Shopping Area. Even with a very late night dinner, safe and easy to walk back to your hotel.

All the best

We enjoy walking around the V&A at night. There are masses of people around and it has a great atmosphere.

No problem walking from Cape Grace to shops and restaurants IN the waterfront. You walk across the bridge and you are there. However dont walk OUTSIDE the waterfront at night on your own. It will be silly to take a taxi. 5 minutes
