accomodation for lesbian couple

We are hoping to visit and stay at a rental villa. Just wondering if anyone has had any negative experiences with this or the locals in the area.

I am not sure what you mean by negative experiences with the locals. Do you mean because you are lesbian? No one really cares as long as you don't flaunt your sexuality whatever it may be. GC is a fairly conservative island and you don't do topless (or bottomless), you don't act like love sick teenagers and you will have no problems. We have met many lesbian couples on dive boats over the years and quite frankly no one really cares. Everyone is there to enjoy themselves and has better things to do than involve themselves with other visitors to the island unless those visitors act inappropriately whether it is being too loud, too drunk, too rude whatever. With regard to the locals, once again unless visitors behave in a way that is annoying or disrespectful, they really don't care either. If you keep your private life private you will have no worries. Hope this helps.
