Warm enough to swim in Capri in May?

We will be in the Capri, Amalfi coast area from May 10 for about a week. I was just wondering if it is warm enough to swim in the Ocean at that time. Thanks

The sea will likely still be pretty cold but I've seen people swimming then - so, depending on weather, it may well be just fine.

I went into the water in the sea on Capri mid May. It was a little chilley. The only people in the water were us (from the frozen upper Midwest USA), and Scandinavian tourists.
