Accommodation, golf, winery recommendations

might be visiting the okanagan valley, BC in Sept/Oct to golf, visit wineries, etc.,...for about 4 days. Looking for B&B or inn recommendations for 2 couples probably mid-week. Would like something centrally located to maximize proximity to the above.

The Princeton golf course has reasonable rates, and is a fun course. It's a bit out of your way, but a nice drive from either Penticton area or Osoyoos.

I used to stay at the R & R B & B (before buying a condo) and it is fantastic. They have 2 units, a lower unit fully self-contained, full kitchen (as big as my condo!). The unit has a second bedroom that they lock off, but will open if 2 couples want to share the unit (one full bath). They also have an upper unit, no kitchen. It's right on the lake in Osoyoos, beautiful view! Price has gone up since we used it..but it is nice and worth the price.

Also, there are places like Destiny Beach Resort, on the same street that is very reasonable off season, but maybe not as nice - although I think they have renovated the place recently! They have raised rates for peak season, but still a great deal off-season. The property was sold, but it fell through and they decided to keep it as a resort and fix it up. They have a couple of great units that have a nice gas fireplace if the weather is cool. We stayed in unit number 1: Check out the site:

Hope that helps! Can't beat the weather and golf in Osoyoos in Sept/Oct!!
