As this seems to be the closest area to Fort Steele

Is stopping at Fort Steele something three young adults 19-23 would enjoy as we are driving up from GNP in Montana to Banff???

Yes, its certainly not on the scale of Fortress Louisburg or even Barkerville. You have to take it for what it is. If you have been to some of those bigger places, I can understand how your expectations would not be met.

to echo Mufti & Vanc67, sorry it didn't pass muster. the province pulled out its funding a few years ago & it is entirely a private non-profit enterprise now. Maybe you could drop the Board an email/letter explaining your experience and let them know what you think they could do better?

It is what it is.... Maybe it seemed quiet with not much going on as maybe the college age kids who probably work there went back to school...And the remainder of those there seemed to be interacting with each other more than trying to engage us There was more facad and reading than I expected. But it was a fine place to stop and walk around Thanks again
