breakfast recommendation. the socialist pig maybe?

I'm looking for recommendations for breakfast in Gananoque.

We're just staying the one night, at the Ramada Provincial Inn, before picking up a houseboat rental. We'll have breakfast in Gananoque the morning we check out of the hotel, and then also the morning we drop the houseboat back off.

I like the look of The Socialist Pig, but a quick look on their website seems to show brunch on a Saturday and Sunday only. It will be a Thursday morning.

Do they actually serve breakfast every day? Are they open early every day for breakfast?

Any other breakfast suggestions will be most gratefully received. I particularly like quirky places, however the other people I'm travelling with are happy with just regular (but good) diner food - eggs, bacon, sausage, omelettes, pancakes, french toast, bottomless coffee etc.

So I guess one quirky place, and one diner would be good!

Many Thanks in advance

Hopefully someone from Gann will chime in. Please be aware if you aren't already that Gananoque is a TINY place. (about 5000 people.) Most people stay in Kingston which is a somewhat larger town but still not a particularly big city.

You may want to consider doing any grocery shopping etc in Kingston for example if you want a reasonable selection. (Even Kingston's grocery stores aren't that great according to my relatives who live there.)

Sorry I can't recommend a place for breakfast. We stayed at a BnB in Gann.

There is a place to eat at the hotel, it may save you time and effort instead of going somewhere else.
