Any thoughts on either of these two bed and Breakfasts???

We are thinking of spending three or four nights mostly to do some hiking and experience the beauty of Mont Tremblant. Both these B&B's have caught our interest. Does anyone have any additional information or recommendations on either of these places to help us make a decision?

Sorry the two I have in mind are:

Plumes et Glisse and Spa Crystal Inn.

Sorry I have never heard of either place.

Check online reviews.

I have picked both places from the reviews, but was wondering if anyone has first hand experience with either of these places.

I also have no first-hand experience with either place. From a location standpoint, both are well located within a short drive of the Tremblant resort and both get excellent reviews on Trip Advisor.

Plumes et Glisse is in Lac Superieur, about 10 minutes drive from the Tremblant resort. Compared with Spa Crystal Inn, it is a bit more remote--about a 20 minute drive--from the Old Village of Mont Tremblant and the town of St-Jovite (now officially called downtown Mont Tremblant). You would have to drive past the Tremblant resort another 10 minutes to get to the Old Village or to St-Jovite.

Spa Crystal Inn is 5 minutes from St-Jovite, 8 minutes or so from the Old Village and 10 minutes from the Tremblant resort.

One other difference is that Plumes et Glisse serves dinner (reviewers give it high praise), which is less common for B&Bs. One reason might be that there are no restaurants nearby (though there are many in the resort) and another seems to be that the owner is a trained chef. Spa Crystal does not serve dinner but is close to St-Jovite's many restaurants and almost as close to those in the Old Village and the Tremblant resort.

Sorry not to be able to be more helpful. You might ask some of the recent TA reviewers for more detailed information; or perhaps someone who has stayed at either property will post comments on this forum.

Tylerarb,

am sure we could not go wrong with either place because as you have pointed out the reviews of both places are excellent. You were very helpful with your location description, so thank you for that.
