Ski Rental Options

Hi, visiting Tremblant from 27th December for 10 days and was wondering if anyone has any advice about ski, pole and helmet hire prices + best way to get good deal on lift passes ? Rented before using the main location at the lifts but wondering if anyone has dealt with anyone else in the resort for the equipment hire (don't need boots) - group of 6 adults. Many thanks.

At the resort there are only resort owned rentals. SO you will pay whatever the going rates are no matter what location you use.

If you have a car you can check out Daniel Lachance in the old village of Tremblant or Atmosphere in St Jovite. But of course that is way less convenient if you need a tune up or to switch gear during the day.

As for passes, sometimes you can get deals on Liftopia for single and multiday passes.

VW typically offers 2-for-1 deals for Tremblant (and Blue Mountain in Ontario) lift tickets, through their website https://www.volkswagenplus.ca - requires a valid VW VIN, though a friend may be able to help. This will probably be no help to the original poster as their offers usually start after Christmas season, around mid January, but for anyone planning a trip later in January, February or March, it can be a very good deal, especially if you only go for a couple of days and cannot take advantage of deeper multi-day discounts.

FYI KLVisitor Daniel Lachance is the best sport wquipment store in the area. It is located just on the road between the end of the Village of Old Mont-Tremblant, and the resort, aka The Village, the fake one. They do sales but rentals too: http://www.daniellachanceskiservice.com/
