Field in late October

We are looking at using Field BC as a 2 night base to visit the area in late October on the way back to Calgary and would like some ideas of good places to eat breakfast and dinner mainly. Most of the places to stay are self catering and we dont want to be bothered with buying groceries etc. We are also on a medium budget. Thanks.

Field is a very tiny hamlet - population about 300, and has one restaurant - the Truffle Pigs Bistro. There is another in Emerald Lake Lodge, which is not too far away.

Field is a pretty small place to stay so you won't have much choice.

looks like your most reasonable priced place.

Lake Louise ( Alberta ) is a 20 minute drive away and would have more choices of places to eat & stay.
