Perfect Beach Vacation for Family in July....

I have found Terrace Beach Resort and Pacific Sands, my kids love the beach (6 and 12 yrs old) and am looking for opinions on the best place to stay right on the beach with a great view and a great beach - our budget is up to $360 a night.....any thoughts?!

Welcome to TA and to this forum.

Personally I would recommend staying at one of the properties on McKenzie Beach near Tofino. The beach is about a kilometre long, protected at either end by headlands. It is a great beach for parents as you can relax and watch your children from a nice comfy beach chair!

You'll find several properties in your price range. I'd look at Ocean Village cabins, Tin Wis, Crystal Cove and even the family section of Middle Beach Lodge.

Try the Wickaninnish Inn, located at the north end of Chesterman beach
