August at Waterton

Planning on coming last week of August to Waterton, but am flexible.

Any differences between early, mid, and end of August at the park; such as in wildflower blooms and wildlife viewing.

I don't suspect much difference, but just thought I'd ask.

Not really any noticeable differences between those dates.

I would think wildflowers will be past their peak by mid-late August.

The last week of August is likely to be busy since Labor Day is September 1 this year.

No difference. I would recommend taking a hike on the Bear's Hump trail. It has a great view of the lake, the townsite, and of course the mountains. I would also recommend going to the boat cruise to Montana and back. You only stay in the U.S. for about half an hour.
