Sonic toothbrush?

I love my sonic toothbrush and want to bring it with me on my UK vacation. Has anyone had problems with sonic/electric toothbrushes not being allowed?

Thanks!

You can take it, but take the batteries out and put them in a separate place. I witnessed an embarrassing moment for a little old man from Sweden when his toothbrush started buzzing whilst in the security line. Everyone heard the noise and started pointing and shouting "it's him! it's him!" Poor fella was blushing when it was all over.

Thanks for the reply. However, my brush's battery is internal, so I can't remove it. I just don't want them to say that I can't bring it.

Can't imagine any reason why it would be a problem - but keep it in your hand luggage as it's rather embarrassing to have your checked luggage blown up due to "an abundance of caution"

Just be aware that if it's a rechargable battery your charger may not work in the UK. Check to see if it's suitable for our 240 volt supply. Some bathrooms do have a 110 volt supply but not all.

Thanks. It typically holds a charge for 10 days, so I shouldn't have to worry about that.
